Trish Perkins APRN CNM MSN
I’m Patricia “Trish” Perkins, a Certified Nurse Midwife and founder of Bliss Birth Center in Conroe, Texas! I started my journey in women’s health as a labor and delivery nurse with the Baylor Midwives, which sparked my dream of becoming a midwife. After raising my family, I took the leap and returned to school to make that dream a reality.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working in a free-standing birth center, providing full-scope midwifery care, and was recruited by Baylor College of Medicine to help launch The Center for Children and Women at Greenspoint. There, I provided prenatal care, including high-risk cases, well-woman exams, and led Centering Pregnancy groups to build community for expecting moms. As a Lactation Consultant at St. Joseph’s Hospital, I also helped achieve Texas Ten Step status, enhancing breastfeeding support for families.
Now, through Bliss Birth Center, I’m thrilled to bring my unique skills and experiences to support women with compassionate, evidence-based care. For me, midwifery is all about empowering women to make the choices that feel best for them and their families. I’m here to support, guide, and celebrate each woman’s journey!
Pamela Williams CPM LM
I am a dedicated and compassionate Certified Professional Midwife, Texas Licensed Midwife, and Certified Doula, as well as a proud aunt to six nieces and nephews. My extensive experience comes from working in both birth centers and attending homebirths across the US and Mexico, providing me with a wealth of knowledge and expertise.
My true passion lies in supporting families with holistic, empathetic care during the transformative journeys of pregnancy, birth, and postpartum. I deeply honor the sacred nature of the birth process and strive to create an intimate and nurturing environment where birthing individuals feel safe, respected, and empowered through shared decision-making.
As a Chicago-area native and fluent Spanish speaker, I am excited about my residency at Bliss and the opportunity to care for the families of Montgomery County. In my free time, I love exploring the nearby forests and preserves, which helps me further connect with both the community and nature.
Jaclyn Nalley MS RD LD
I’m a registered dietitian with an unconventional path to wellness! My first love was music—I earned my first bachelors degree in music performance from the University of Houston, where I immersed myself in every note. But life took an exciting twist after I completed an Ironman. That intense experience fueled my passion for health and led me to pursue a second bachelors degree in nutrition from Texas State University. I went on to complete my master’s at UTMB, officially becoming a registered dietitian.
Now, I get to combine my love for discipline, resilience, and science to help others live healthier lives. When I’m not in the office, you’ll find me adventuring with my husband and our dog, exploring as many national parks as we can.
Dinnie Lombardo MA
With a genuine servant heart, I have devoted over 34 years to the medical field as a medical assistant. This fulfilling journey has allowed me to connect with individuals during their most vulnerable moments, providing care and support that genuinely makes a difference in their lives.
I am fortunate to celebrate 32 wonderful years of marriage, alongside my spouse, as we’ve built a loving and supportive family. Together, we've raised incredible sons who continue to inspire us with their achievements. Family is the cornerstone of my life, and the deep bonds we share empower and uplift us every day.
Beyond my professional and family commitments, I am passionate about travel and everything Disney! I love exploring new destinations, immersing myself in diverse cultures, and creating cherished memories along the way. Whether it’s a quick weekend escape or an adventurous journey, the excitement of discovering new places is a constant delight.
At the core of my being is my commitment to service. Whether in my career, with my family, or in my adventures, I strive to infuse kindness, compassion, and a sprinkle of magic into everything I do.
Ali Lundy RN
Hi, I’m Ali Lundy! I grew up in Magnolia, Texas, went off to the University of Tampa for a degree in International Business and Marketing, and even squeezed in some collegiate soccer while I was at it. After adding an MBA to the mix, I tried my hand in health insurance and tax consulting but quickly realized my heart was somewhere else.
When my husband and I decided to start a family, I became fascinated by the midwifery model of care—and after a life-changing out-of-hospital birth with my first child in 2022, I knew this was my calling. Now, I’m a Registered Nurse and Birth Assistant at Bliss Birth Center, and I’ll be diving into a Master’s in Nursing in 2025 to become a Certified Nurse Midwife.
I’m passionate about helping women feel empowered at every stage of life, and I love that the midwifery model is all about building strong relationships and community. Plus, I’m counting down the days to meet my second little one! Looking forward to connecting with you soon!
Shannon Wright LMT
My journey as a women’s advocate began in the late ‘90s, when I saw a friend’s less-than-ideal birth experience and thought, “There has to be a better way.” So, I dove into learning about pregnancy, birth, and the midwifery model of care, and I was hooked! In 2003, I certified as a doula with DONA International and spent over a decade supporting families in hospitals, birth centers, and homes. My own experiences as a mother and volunteer, including work with partners of deployed soldiers, added a deeper level of empathy to my practice.
When my family life became too busy for on-call doula work, I pivoted to become a Licensed Massage Therapist, specializing in perinatal massage. Then, life came full circle when I trained at The Farm Midwifery Center to become a Certified Birth Assistant, a lifelong dream. I also became a Certified Birth Boot Camp Instructor to educate and empower families on their journey to parenthood.
Now, I live in NW Houston with my husband and three independent, adventure-loving kids. When I’m not working, I’m usually road-tripping, camping, reading, or spending time at the barn with our horses, Izzy and Oakley.
Katie Fojtik Student Midwife
I'm a proud Texas State University alum, where I earned my Bachelor's degree in Communication Studies back in 2009. After spending nine years working for the State of Texas, I decided to take on my most rewarding job yet—raising my three amazing kids.
In 2021, my passion for birth and women’s health led me to join the Association of Texas Midwives. I wrapped up the academic portion in March 2024, and I’m eagerly diving into my clinical experience this year.
Family is at the heart of everything I do. I live in The Woodlands with my husband, who’s a firefighter here, and our three kiddos: Lorelai (7), Gwennie (4), and Beau (2). All three of my babies were born at birth centers with midwives, and I’m proud to be a mama to two bliss babies as well.
When I'm not busy with midwifery or family life, you'll find me out on long walks with the kids, lost in a good book, tuning into my favorite podcasts, or planning our next family adventure. I’m so grateful to Trish, Pamela, and all our amazing clients at Bliss for welcoming me into this wonderful community!
Debbie Farloung RT(R) ARDMS
I’m Debra Farlough, RT(R) ARDMS—a medical imaging specialist with over four decades in the field, where I’ve had the pleasure of working across radiology, nuclear medicine, computed tomography, and ultrasound. Teaching is a big part of my journey, too; I’m an instructor in radiology at Wharton County Junior College and teach ultrasound at Ultrasound Diagnostic School.
When I’m not in scrubs or at the front of a classroom, you’ll find me deeply involved in ministry, crafting something fun, diving into a good book, or simply enjoying the great outdoors. My greatest joy? Ultrasound (naturally!) and spending precious time with my grandkids. Mother, grandmother, friend—if you need anything, I’m just a call away!
